The Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS) is seeking to employ a student as
Student / Research Assistant (m/f/x) (max.19h/week)
starting at the earliest possible date. The position is limited until December 31, 2025. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG) as well as the Higher Education Act in the Free State of Saxony (Sächsisches Hochschulgesetz – SächsHSG) in conjunction with the TdL guidelines (collective bargaining association for the German federal states) for Student Assistants and Research Assistants dated February 28, 2024.
Data has become a fundamental basis for modern scientific and industrial research. Data trust centers, such as the emerging DDtrust at TUD, are intended to regulate the exchange of sensitive data, such as personally identifiable medical data or protected data from industry and commerce, among researchers or with the industry in the future. The MAST - Modular Automated System for Data Trusts project offers a challenging and exciting opportunity for students to contribute and collaborate with experienced researcher’s on developing cutting-edge solutions to support the processes of data exchange at data trust centers, ensuring, for example, the non-identifiability of the data. This position offers the opportunity to learn new skills, providing a strong foundation for your future career.
− academic support in the design and development of a software architecture and the documentation
− enrolled student at a college/university, preferably in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable engineering or natural science field
