The Chair of Quantitative Methods, esp. Econometrics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the TUD Dresden University of Technology conducts research in labor, education, health and population economics, focusing on the econometrics of evaluation of policy measures. Research Assistant (m/f/x) (8h/week)
starting on July 1, 2025. The position Is limited to 6 months (due to limited funds) with the option for extension. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG as well as the Higher Education Act in the Free State of Saxony - SächsHSG) in conjunction with the TdL guidelines (collective bargaining association for the German federal states) for Student Assistants and Research Assistants dated February 28, 2024.
scientific support activities in innovative research projects in education and labor economics, particularly in data preparation, analysis and visualization, as well as research of relevant literature, data sources and legal regulations.
