The aim of the project is to design, fabricate, test, model and optimize a submillimeter-scale micro-structure, which is used for magneto-mechanical localization and sensing. The project is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant VIBEBOT, for the initial period of three months.
Specific tasks for the Master student include:
A master student in Engineering, Physics or relevant subjects is required. An interest or experience in the fields of microsystem engineering, microdevices and microfluidics, and wireless actuation are preferred. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and possess excellent English skills; and be open to discuss new ideas in an interdisciplinary team and be flexible to apply various experimental methods. The project can be further extended to a student research project or a master thesis.
