The Department of Processing is looking for a Scientific Assistant (f/m/d) Chemical / Process engineer, focus on mineral processing, subject to project approval.

engineer, focus on mineral processing

Working field:

  • Responsible for the PHOSBENEX project (TUNGER 2 funding programme of the BMBF)
  • Ore processing and mineralogic characterisation
  • Conceptualization and execution of ore processing tests (focus on flotation)
  • Optimisation and upscaling of the process (including the use of a Mini Pilot Plant)
  • Publication of the results on international conferences and in scientific journals

Requirements:

  • Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of Process engineering or related field or PhD
  • Relevant professional experience in the specified area
  • Knowledge and experience in Mineral Processing, laboratory work, optimisation, modelling and data analysis
  • Collaboration in multicultural teams
  • Competence for writing technical reports
  • Independent working style
  • Able to present to diverse audiences
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, knowledge of German/French is advantageous
